Ragdoll Rescue
 This
group is to help match Ragdolls with new owners. These Ragdolls may be
in shelters or be retired breeding cats. We encourage the spay and neuter
of these cats before they go into their new homes. It will be up to individuals
placing these Ragdolls to screen the new potential owners...and the new
potential owner to find out as much about these kitties before they agree
to caring for them for the rest of their lives.
Okay, I'm begging! ;-))
Ragdoll Rescue is having to turn kitties away, because our funds are
low and we can't afford to Vet a kitty...never mind neuter it, if need
be. Reduced rates are available for our fosters/rescuers and many of them
have been using their own funds to support Ragdoll Rescue, but there is
a dire need out there!
Each kitty brought in to rescue costs approx cost $100...or MORE! depending
on the needs of the kitty in question. There are often costs for treating
URI, ear mites, fleas, or doing...speuter, FIV/FeLV testing, vaccinations
...not to mention (possibly numerous) office visits!
If you can spare $5, that would help! If you can spare more, that could
save a Ragdoll, or wannabe's life! Please consider helping out!
Those of you who I have already helped, with re-homing a kitty (or two!)
that you had placed in a pet home, here's your chance to say "thank
you" to Ragdoll Rescue! ;-))
